The tub wall feels higher than it used to. Getting down to the tub floor, and back up, takes planning. Maybe you shower less than you'd like, or wait until someone is home.
You want to keep bathing on your own terms, in private, without worrying about the next step.
You want them comfortable and independent, and you'd like to help without taking over.
No bathroom product can guarantee you won't fall, and this page isn't medical advice. The goal is to make bathing easier and more manageable.
I sell walk-in tubs, and I believe in them. But I'm not going to pretend one is right for everybody. Let me help you understand whether it makes sense for your situation.
"I've told people a walk-in tub wasn't right for them. That conversation is part of the job."George Bentley · confirm wording

I started Bentley Baths in Denver in 2003, after my mother fell in a traditional tub. Over the past 20 years I've helped more than 100 families make their bathrooms easier to use. (Publish only if George confirms the number.)
Bentley Baths is my business: I sell and install bathing solutions, mostly walk-in tubs, and I believe in them. I'm telling you that up front so you can weigh what I say. If a tub isn't right for you, I'll say so. I lean toward tubs because you can sit down to bathe for the rest of your life, and I believe a deep, warm soak has real value.

| ADA shower system | People who prefer to shower | No soaking. |
| Tub cut | Keeping your existing tub with a lower step-in | Confirm George offers this. |
| Smaller changes | Grab bars, handheld showers, benches | Confirm which George provides. |
Bentley Baths recommends a thermostatic mixing valve on residential installations. It limits how hot the water can get.
